PREGNANCY DIET
MY PREGNANCY DIET So you just found out you are pregnant, it is the beautiful most Amazing news ever. I didn't plan my pregnancies, well I just found out with the most common symptom is nausea, "got so excited" but well I just realized on my 3rd pregnancy, to me nausea was all about the food I ate, and then I changed my diet. I change my diet and everything went so well in such a way that I don't mind having a 5th child, my 3rd is 2 years and my 4th is just 9 months. let me explain my diet and am hoping it will work for you in such a way that you do your groceries with no stress, well that is what I did until 4 days of delivery, oh am glad I did because It was easy for me to get back on my feet after the C-section. If you have complications you will have to speak to your DR but in my 3rd and 4th pregnancy, I was extremely active and careful for sure. I didn't want to bump my cute belly around, it was so big people thought I was having twins. okay, back to the food. let me tell you about my pregnancy diet.
BREAKFAST 5;00 AM - 8:00 AM
In the morning, I woke up so early and had oatmeal the only cereal my children wanted me to eat while pregnant, they didn't allow me to eat other cereals I will definitely feel so exhausted if I eat other cereals, well it might not be the same case with you because everyone is different but only oat worked for me, I will have it in the morning at 5 am, yes that early no wonder they wake up around that time and want breakfast. Around 7 am to 8 am I will have my sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, a slice of cheese, an egg either fried or boiled and a little catchup, that was it for breakfast or should I say early breakfast/early lunch. lunch because I already ate early lunch so, I will have fruits, plain yogurt, and crackers, I ate an apple and a pear but there are a lot of fruit out there they just didn't like them had to stick with these two because if I ate other fruit it either I will feel so tired or nausea so had no choice. For the yogurt, I had to eat only the plain Greek yogurt my kids didn't allow me to eat flavored yogurt so had to stick with plain yogurt only, Yep.. had to stick with what they wanted so I will enjoy my pregnancy. THEY ARE IN THERE, THEY RULE!!!
DINNER 5:00 PM -6:00 PM For dinner I ate a bowl of stir-fried rice with lots of vegetables and meat on the side, I basically had to eat the same thing throughout my whole pregnancy, didn't mind because I felt good with no nausea and tiredness.
I am not into drinking too much juice and cold drinks. Water has always been my number-1 so I just had to carry on with my number 1 and drank 3 liters a day and I felt so GOOD! N.B So make sure you eat healthily and look out for the things that give you energy, they have to be healthy for you and your baby, so if it is healthy and gives you energy stick to it, so you'll enjoy your whole pregnancy.
