Well, to tell the truth, diapers are pretty pricy, yes, they are part of mom life but not forever because the little bundles grow up and you only have to worry about underwear and that an exciting moment for every mom, when the baby is grown up and wears underwear, I say baby because even thou they grow up you always see them as little cute bundles.
Back to the diapers, since I had 2 under 1, I thought okay the price for diapers is being doubled now and I thought let me try the cheap ones, because that what we do if we can't afford them, we go for cheap and this nothing wrong with going for cheap especially if you not losing out of it, but if you are losing a lot, then it better to save and go for the quality.
The brand (PAMPERS) I used kept everything inside and the baby felt comfortable because they had an elastic thing around the legs which made it easy for the baby to move his legs and the best thing is that my kids are able to wear the diaper for 5 to 6 hours it can be more but when it has too much urine it start being uncomfortable for the baby, and then let talk about the cheap brand, I was so excited thinking wow, am going to be saving and what I realized was that I was loosing, why? because within 2 hours it was full compared to the brand I used I had to change the baby 3 times within 6 hours with the cheap diaper but with the brand I used I change the baby only once every 6 hours unless he did the messy part but when he only pied, the diaper will last for 6 hours, the cheap ones they didn't have that stretchy part, which made it uncomfortable for baby, and it made baby want mommy to hold him, then play, play because he felt uncomfortable.
But when I looked at both the diapers cheap and expensive, I had an idea because my kids when they are teething, the sign that I usually get is diarrhea, so those cheap diapers played a big role when my kids are teething I will use them and save the other ones because they last longer but when the baby has diarrhea you don't worry about the nappy that last longer because you change the diapers continuously and with those cheap diapers you not losing because they don't last long and they are uncomfortable for baby when he moves around a lot but if the baby is teething he wants to be close to mom, so those diapers are not a problem for that period of time.
What I do is I buy both and store the cheap ones for those diarrhea teething days which are not comfortable for both mom and baby and the ones that last longer on baby I used them every day and well, am a happy mamma with a happy baby. To read about 6-hour diapers click here.
