GOOD QUALITY TOY, GOOD INVESTMENT
I have 4 kids and have been buying toys a lot they are mommy-helpers to keep the kids busy for a little while when mom needs to do things around the house and what I realized is that the expensive toys are the ones that I preferer to buy not because I can afford them, it the quality I find in them, but I save up for birthdays, so that my kids get a toy that is strong and educational, why I encourage the parent to buy the good quality toy, they don't have to put a whole on their pocket but looking at the material, not something that going to last for 2 minutes but for years is worth looking at.
why? I talk like this in the previous blog I talked about the toy that I bought for my 10-year-old when he was 2 years old and my 1-year-old is using it now, it has been thrown on the floor for years but it is still alive and singing ABCs with my 1-year-old, my other 2 kids who were born before my 1-year-old also did their thing on the toy, and it still does it job perfectly, teaching my 1-year-old to sing ABCs in a fun way, singing together, all I have to do is change batteries and it good to go.
I am not saying do a grocery of expensive toys, there are many things that are more important, but when it birthday time invest in a good quality toy and I think looking at educational toys is the best way to go, it just advice that I am giving to moms out there invest on something that is going to last longer and that will educate your child, I am all about saving up and saving up is not buying cheap but buying a good quality product which won’t break easily and you'll have to buy over and over and end up paying more than just that quality product that was expensive, even the baby walker and stroller I bought for my firstborn who’s now 10 years old, all my other kids used it and my 1 year old used it I didn’t have to put baby walker and stroller on my list for my other 3 kids and it still in a good condition.
Understanding that babies are expensive so, when buying anything for them you make sure it is a good quality product that will last for long and you only have to worry about other things, and this can be applied by saving up and investing in the best product by looking at the reviews, best way to know if you should buy that product and also look at the material of that product.
The only problem I have with cheap toys, they break within seconds and when that toy is broken, the kids want you to fix it, and looking at the way they break, they are just unfixable, so look at what best suits you and your family but I've been buying toys a lot for my kids, why? because the toys are part of childhood and now when I buy a toy I carefully look at the material, well if I don’t find the best quality I have to keep on looking and if it is expensive I have to save up more to make sure I get a quality product that will last.
